Merchant Automotive Fuel Feed Hose, LB7 2001-2004

This molded fuel feed hose from Merchant Automotive is for the 6.6 Liter Duramax LB7. It is built for diesel fuel and replaces GM 97216063. The factory rubber hose hardens and cracks with age and heat, which leads to diesel seepage and can let air into the low-pressure fuel system.

This hose installs in the factory location.

Key Features

• Molded hose that replaces GM 97216063
• Built for diesel fuel
• Molded to the factory shape for a direct-fit install
• Sold individually; one required per engine

Benefits

The LB7's rubber fuel hoses are now well past their service life. A cracked feed hose can cause fuel seepage, fuel smell, and hard starts or rough running if it draws air. Replacing it restores a tight seal on the feed side of the fuel system.

Replace if worn or damaged. Commonly replaced at the same time: Fuel Injection Pump Front Feed Hose, LB7 2001-2004, Fuel Filter Head Outlet Hose, LB7 Duramax 2001-2004.
