Description
This replacement O-ring seals the lower radiator hose where it connects to the radiator on 2011 - 2016 LML 6.6 Liter Duramax Silverado and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks. Coolant seeping or dripping from the bottom of the radiator at the lower hose connection is usually caused by a hardened or flattened O-ring, not a failed hose. Replacing the seal stops the leak for a fraction of the cost of a new lower radiator hose assembly.
Key Features
- Seals the lower radiator hose connection at the radiator
- Direct replacement for the factory O-ring
- Fits 2011 - 2016 LML Duramax
Benefits
- Stops coolant leaks at the lower radiator connection
- Avoids replacing the entire lower hose assembly
- Inexpensive to replace whenever the hose is disconnected
Installation Note
Drain the coolant below the lower hose before disconnecting it. Clean the hose fitting and radiator neck, lightly lubricate the new O-ring with clean coolant, and push the hose fully into place until the retainer locks.
