Injector Cup Sealant, LB7 Duramax 2001-2004

This red sealant is used when installing injector cups on the 6.6 Liter Duramax LB7. A small amount goes at the bottom of each injector cup to make sure it seals properly in the cylinder head. On the LB7 the injector cups pass through the coolant jacket, so a properly sealed cup helps keep coolant out of the combustion chamber and away from the injector.

Use it with new cup O-rings any time the injector cups are replaced.
