Injector Body Seal 8 Pack, LMM Duramax 2007.5-2010

Fits LMM injectors only.

This 8 pack of injector body seals is for the 6.6 Liter Duramax LMM. Each seal goes between the fuel injector body and the cylinder head. There is one seal per injector, so a single pack covers the whole engine.

These seals fit LMM injectors only. Replace the body seals any time the injectors are removed. A worn seal can leak combustion gas or let oil past the injector.

Key Features

• 8 injector body seals, one per injector
• 19 x 2 mm seals sized for the LMM injector body
• Fits LMM injectors only
• Seals the injector body to the cylinder head bore

Benefits

With all 8 seals in one pack, every cylinder gets a fresh seal at the same time and nobody has to track down singles mid-job. Before seating each injector, lightly coat the seal with clean engine oil and make sure the bore is clean, with no old seal material left behind. Replace if worn or damaged.

Commonly replaced at the same time: Injector Copper Washers, Injector Fuel Return Line Seal - 8 Pack, Duramax 2004.5 - 2010.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these fit the LLY or LBZ?

No. The LLY and LBZ use a different body seal. Order the LLY LBZ Injector Body Seal 8 Pack 2004.5-2007 instead.

For the 2011-2016 LML, use the Injector Body Seal 8 Pack 2011 - 2016.

Can I reuse the old body seals?

We don't recommend it. A seal that has been heat-cycled and compressed may not reseal, and a leak means pulling the injector again.

Is a special tool needed to pull the injectors?

Our Merchant Automotive Fuel Injector Removal Tool Kit 2004.5 - 2010 makes a stuck injector much easier to remove without damaging the injector or the head.
