The factory motor mounts on your 6.6 Liter V8 Duramax Diesel are great for normal driving, but over time, or in higher horsepower applications, these rubber mounts can rip. Ripped or broken motor mounts can cause excessive vibration or engine shifting while driving, posing a bigger danger to other engine components.

Our MA Duramax Motor Mounts are the perfect upgrade for your 2001-2010 Duramax. These mounts are made in the USA from high-quality steel for strength and durability. High-performance polyurethane bushings were used to give a firm, yet flexible feel for your 6.6 Liter engine.

These mounts are finished in a bright orange finish to give your engine bay a great new splash of color. High grade fasteners and thread locker are included to get your new MA Motor Mounts properly installed.

Being a performance product that was built with strength and capability in mind, a more pronounced vibration at a stop or while idling may be present over the stock mounts due to the nature of their solid design. This is normal and will smooth out while driving.

Mount to Frame bolt - 43 lb/ft

Mount to Block bolt - 43 lb/ft

Mount thru bolt - 75 lb/ft

Use supplied thread lock on the mount to frame and mount to block bolts

Are My Duramax Motor Mounts Bad?

To tell if you have a bad motor mount, take note of how your vehicle is running. With excessive vibrations being one of the key indicators of bad or worn motor mounts, it can be a little difficult to differentiate between engine mount vibrations and suspension vibrations. To check your motor mounts, pop the hood of your truck, have a friend rev the engine while in park, and look for excessive movement.

If you notice the engine rocking back and forth more than usual, chances are, your motor mounts need to be replaced. While factory motor mounts will correct this, our MA Motor Mounts will be a superior replacement that offer longer-lasting and higher performing polyurethane bushings.

Please note: This is a performance mount built the handle the extra stress in high horsepower builds. With this added strength, more in cab vibration can be present while in park or at idle. This smoothes out while driving and the engine is operating above idle RPM's
