Billet S400 Lower Turbo Oil Drain Fitting 2001-2016

The Merchant Automotive billet lower oil drain fitting mounts at the engine block in place of the stock turbo oil drain line, for aftermarket S400-frame turbochargers on the 6.6 Liter Duramax LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM and LML. It is machined from billet 6061 aluminum, anodized black, and accepts a -10 AN drain line. Pair it with an upper drain fitting at the turbo for a full-flow drain on an S400 build.

It will NOT work with the stock turbocharger or with S300 turbos.

Benefits

An S400 needs a larger, unrestricted drain than the factory line. A drain that backs up pushes oil past the turbo seals, causing smoke and oil in the intake. This fitting replaces the factory connection at the block with a -10 AN port, so the drain line can run straight to the turbo with no restriction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work with my stock turbo?

No. This fitting is only for aftermarket turbochargers built on the S400 frame. It will not work with the stock turbo or with S300 turbos.

Is there a kit with the drain line?

Yes. The S-400 Turbo Drain Kit, Duramax 2001 - 2016 includes this fitting, the upper fitting and a 14.25 Inch -10 Ptfe-lined stainless drain hose made in-house. For 2001-2010 trucks, the Duramax Turbo Oil Line Kit S400 Valley Mount Turbo 2001 - 2010 covers both the oil feed and the drain.

Do I need a gasket?

Yes. The fitting seals to the engine with the lower turbo drain gasket, which is sold separately.

Fits 2001-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the 6.6 Liter Duramax LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM or LML that have an aftermarket S400-frame turbocharger. Not for stock turbos or S300 turbos.
